Indianapolis Motor Speedway Suite
Indianapolis, Indiana

RBS seized an opportunity to create a hospitality suite at the Indianapolis Speedway in time for the upcoming Indianapolis 500. Eight weeks before “gentlemen, start your engines”…the race was on.

Construction began without drawings. TAP camped out at the site, providing layout, instructing trades…creating solutions. The suite opened in six weeks, just in “time” for the time trials.

Illinois and Indiana

A subsidiary of RBS, Charter One Bank, entered the Chicago market in 2000 by purchasing the seventy plus branch network of St. Paul Federal Bank. TAP began work with the President of the Illinois region and the head of Illinois administrative services to develop a new standard for branch facilities. Charter One’s intent was to create a new focus on retail opportunities with a redesign that complimented that goal. In the first year, TAP remodeled over 25 branches.

Charter One followed up with a regional program of expansion. Illinois was chosen as the first region to implement the new plan with TAP providing land planning and architectural services. Over 20 new branches are now open.

Indiana became the next target area. Due to expertise developed in Illinois, TAP teamed with Charter One to open sites quickly. In less than a year, TAP and Charter One opened eight new sites in Indianapolis. In a new retail twist, we’ve assisted Charter One with integrated sites with Starbucks.
